In today’s world of outdoor living, a beautiful kitchen should be more than just a place to cook. It should become the centerpiece of the backyard, reflecting the homeowner’s personality while standing up to decades of use. That’s where Concrete Art Designs separates itself from traditional contractors.
Rather than installing prefabricated outdoor kitchens, Peter Chavez approaches every project as a concrete artist, transforming raw concrete into one-of-a-kind functional sculptures that become permanent pieces of the home. With decades of experience creating decorative concrete throughout South Florida, his work combines craftsmanship, engineering, and artistic vision into installations designed to last for generations.
More Than an Outdoor Kitchen

The outdoor kitchen featured above perfectly represents the philosophy behind Concrete Art Designs.
Instead of relying on modular cabinets or mass-produced materials, every curve, countertop, support column, and decorative element was handcrafted from concrete. The result is an outdoor entertainment space that feels completely custom because it is.
From the wood-fired pizza oven to the integrated grill station, every component works together as a single artistic installation rather than a collection of individual products.
Concrete as an Artistic Medium
Many people think of concrete as gray sidewalks or commercial foundations.
Peter Chavez sees something entirely different.
Concrete offers nearly limitless creative possibilities, allowing surfaces to be sculpted, polished, stained, engraved, painted, or textured to create designs that simply cannot be achieved with traditional outdoor kitchen materials.
In this project, vibrant hand-painted floral artwork transforms the cabinetry into a custom mural while maintaining the durability that concrete is known for. The artistic details create a warm, tropical atmosphere that complements the surrounding outdoor space without sacrificing longevity.
Each project becomes a permanent work of art created specifically for that property.
Built to Withstand South Florida
South Florida presents unique challenges for outdoor living spaces.
Constant UV exposure, heavy rain, humidity, salt air, and temperature fluctuations can quickly deteriorate many traditional materials.
Concrete offers exceptional durability when properly designed, reinforced, and sealed.
A handcrafted concrete outdoor kitchen provides:
- Exceptional resistance to weather and moisture
- Long-lasting structural integrity
- Low maintenance compared to wood or manufactured cabinetry
- Custom colors, finishes, and artistic designs
- Seamless integration with outdoor living spaces
- Timeless beauty that improves with age
Rather than replacing outdoor kitchens every decade, homeowners invest in something designed to remain beautiful for many years.
Every Project Begins With a Vision
No two Concrete Art Designs projects are alike.
Some clients envision clean, modern architectural lines. Others prefer rustic textures inspired by natural stone, while many want artistic elements that reflect their personality, home, or landscape.
Peter Chavez works closely with each homeowner to transform ideas into handcrafted concrete creations that cannot be replicated by mass-produced products.
That collaborative process is what turns an outdoor kitchen into a signature feature of the property.
Functional Art That Becomes Part of the Home
An outdoor kitchen should do more than prepare meals.
It should create a place where families gather, celebrations happen, and memories are made.
By combining artistic creativity with structural craftsmanship, Concrete Art Designs creates outdoor living spaces that serve both practical and aesthetic purposes. The finished product isn’t simply an outdoor kitchen. It’s a permanent piece of concrete art that enhances the property’s value, character, and lifestyle.
Experience the Difference of True Concrete Art
For homeowners who want more than ordinary outdoor construction, Concrete Art Designs offers a unique approach built around craftsmanship, creativity, and durability.
Every countertop, fireplace, fire pit, sink, floor, table, and outdoor kitchen is individually handcrafted by Peter Chavez, ensuring that no two projects are ever the same. It’s this commitment to artistic excellence that has made Concrete Art Designs a trusted name in decorative concrete throughout South Florida.
