A Concrete Table Designed as Functional Art
A dining table is more than a surface. It is where people gather, share meals, hold conversations, and create memories. With this custom round concrete dining table, Concrete Art Designs shows how concrete can become the centerpiece of a beautifully designed space.
Created by Peter Chavez, this piece reflects the company’s approach to concrete artistry: strong, elegant, handcrafted, and built to last. You can find the video of the table here!
Handcrafted Concrete With a Refined Finish
This custom concrete table features a smooth circular top with a sculptural base, giving the piece a clean and balanced look. The round shape creates an inviting layout for group seating, while the concrete finish adds texture, weight, and character to the room.
Unlike mass-produced tables, this piece was made specifically for the space. The size, shape, tone, and finish all work together with the surrounding architecture, seating, flooring, and lighting.
Concrete Art That Fits the Space
Concrete offers a level of customization that traditional furniture materials often cannot match. It can be shaped, colored, polished, sealed, and finished to create a completely unique piece.
For this project, the table was designed to feel modern, natural, and permanent. The soft concrete finish complements the warm wall tones, large-format flooring, and contemporary circular light fixture above the table.
The result is a dining area that feels cohesive, custom, and artistic.
Built for Everyday Use
A custom concrete dining table is not only about appearance. It is also built for long-term use. When properly crafted and sealed, concrete provides a durable surface that can support daily dining, entertaining, meetings, and family gatherings.
Benefits of a custom concrete table include:
- Strong, long-lasting construction
- Custom size, shape, and finish
- A unique handmade appearance
- Indoor or outdoor design flexibility
- Timeless style that does not feel mass-produced
- A durable surface made for everyday living
A Signature Piece by Peter Chavez
Peter Chavez approaches concrete as an artistic medium, not just a building material. Each table, countertop, outdoor kitchen, pizza oven, planter, or decorative feature is created with attention to form, function, and detail.
This custom concrete dining table is a strong example of that vision. It is simple, elegant, and practical, yet still feels like a one-of-a-kind art piece made for the home.
